There are a lot of holiday parties happening over the next few weeks and with the popularity cupcakes have enjoyed lately (multiple TV shows? really?) I'm sure at least a few of you will be sharing your cupcake creations. If you need a simple and dirt cheap way to transport the cupcakes just get a shallow gift box and cut several X's in the top of the box.
A shirt box works great for this. You can also use the same solution for muffins or, my favorite, meatloaf muffins.
If you're big into presentation you could even gift wrap the box before cutting the X's.
