The Android Market web interface just got an update that brings extra filtering powers to the user reviews section, letting you filter by the device of the reviewer, the star rating they gave, and the version of the app they used.
User reviews can be extremely helpful in deciding whether to download an app, but when half of them say the app is awesome and half are having trouble, sometimes it would be nice to filter some reviews out to get more detail about who's having problems. Now, the Android Market lets you do just that. Say you have an HTC Thunderbolt (also known as the HTC Mecha, as shown above), and an app isn't working on your device—you can filter the reviews and view only those written by Thunderbolt users (or Thunderbolt users who gave the app one star) and see if others are having problems too. Right now it only lets you filter by devices you own, which is kind of strange and annoying, but isn't likely to be a problem for most people. Hit the link below to read more, or head over to the Market to check it out for yourself.
